My friend invited me to a "working artist tour" on Camano Island yesterday. We drove all over the island visiting artist's studio's. These studio's ranged from a little room in a house to a full scale metal shop packed full of the most interesting machines one could imagine. I am fascinated with metal work, and would love to be able to create things that make people smile.
I saw a kiln on Craig's list, and would love to take lessons in making fused glass uh things. Yard art, metal with glass thingies in it..ahh...Gardenia is so creative..I don't have an artistic cell in my body and no yard, but it is a fun dream.
